Plasma rotation is found across a wide range of environments. It also leads to a variety of peculiar manifestations, which, if controlled, could enable a number of important technological applications. In this talk I will first recall a number of these effects before introducing how rotation control in a plasma can be envisioned differently than in neutral fluids, with different pros and cons. After that I will discuss more specifically how motion, and rotation in particular, affects wave propagation, and what possible implications may be.
